Jason Balasch is an experienced professional with a diverse background in the energy industry. Jason currently holds the position of Sr. Director, Business Development at Trans Mountain since October 2022. Prior to that, they served as Director & Officer at MissionNet starting from March 2022. From 2020 to 2022, they worked as an Executive Energy Advisor in Calgary, Alberta.
Before joining MissionNet, Jason held multiple leadership roles at Plains Midstream Canada, including President from 2016 to 2020 and Executive Vice President & Vice President. Natural Gas Liquids from 2011 to 2016.
During their time at Enterprise Products, Jason held several key positions, including Vice President, USGC Gathering & Processing from 2010 to 2011, Vice President, Fractionation & NGL Pipelines from 2005 to 2010, and Director, NGL Assets from 2000 to 2005.
Prior to joining Enterprise Products, they worked at TC Energy as Manager, Business Development from 1997 to 2000 and as Manager, Business Development from 1995 to 1997.
Jason Balasch started their career as a Facilities Engineer at Chevron from 1989 to 1994. Throughout their career, they have gained extensive experience and expertise in various aspects of the energy industry.
Jason Balasch has a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Calgary. Jason also holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the Edinburgh Business School, Heriot-Watt University.
