Alma Hernandez

Alma Hernandez has a background in software quality assurance and testing. Alma is currently working as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer at TransAct Technologies since April 2022. Previously, they held the position of Software Programmer I - Enterprise Applications at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas from January 2022 to March 2022, where they worked on website development and system integrations. Before that, they worked as a QA Analyst at Parler from June 2020 to March 2021, conducting quality assurance activities. Alma also has experience as a QA Vendor POC at Machine Zone from August 2016 to August 2018, where they communicated with and assigned tasks to a team of testers. Alma's earlier experience includes working as a QA Tester at 2K from April 2014 to February 2016, conducting software and hardware testing, bug reporting, and regression testing.

Alma Hernandez obtained their General Education Development (GED) degree in General Studies from Cascade in 2006. Alma then went on to earn an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in Computer Science from the College of Southern Nevada, graduating in 2018. Subsequently, Alma pursued further education and completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas in 2022. Additionally, they obtained certifications including Wireshark Essential Training from LinkedIn in March 2022, and Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals from Microsoft in June 2023.
