Mike Banks

Mike Banks has extensive experience in security operations and incident management across various leadership roles. Currently serving as Senior Director of Security Operations at Transaction Network Services since June 2012, Mike oversees threat and vulnerability management, including scanning, penetration testing remediation, as well as firewall administration and intrusion detection/prevention. Previously, Mike held positions such as Director of Threat and Vulnerability Management at TNSI and Senior Network Security Manager at Transaction Network Services. Mike's foundational career began at PSINet as an IP Engineer and Provisioning and Install Manager. Mike holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Shepherd University, completed between 1990 and 1994.
