Lee Myers has a diverse range of work experience in the field of cybersecurity, telecommunications, and computer support. Lee began their career as a Computer Technician at Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake High School, where they updated software and hardware on computers in the district. Lee then worked as an Imaging Science Technician at Ballston Spa Operating Center for a brief period.
In 2009, Lee transitioned to Cyberstorm Premiere Gaming, where they served as a Sales Associate/Technician assisting customers with computer usage and maintaining the network. Later that year, they joined One Communications as a Voice Translation Technician, working on telecommunication switches and troubleshooting errors.
Lee joined Wegmans Food Markets in 2011 as a Network and Communications Co-op, where they upgraded phone systems and installed new Cisco switches. Lee then became a Network Support Technician, monitoring network connections and managing network security at Wegmans stores.
In 2012, Lee joined the Center for Internet Security, starting as a SOC Analyst and monitoring cybersecurity threats for state and local governments. Lee was then promoted to Senior SOC Analyst, where they provided cybersecurity services to government entities and assisted in training new staff. Finally, Lee became the SOC Manager, overseeing hiring, training, and maintaining documentation of processes within the Security Operations Center.
With their extensive experience in cybersecurity, telecommunications, and computer support, Lee has acquired a strong skill set in managing and improving network operations and ensuring cybersecurity measures are in place.
Lee Myers attended Westhill High School from 2005 to 2007, where they obtained a Regents diploma. Following their high school education, Myers enrolled at the Rochester Institute of Technology from 2007 to 2012. Lee graduated from RIT with a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Security and Forensics.
