Vishal Sharma

Vishal Sharma is an experienced technology leader with over two decades in the telecommunications industry. Currently serving as VP of Technology at AGNITY, Inc since June 2008, Vishal has a strong focus on technology architecture management and business development, particularly in the Japan region. Prior roles at AGNITY include Sr. Director and Director of Engineering, where Vishal led the largest business unit, overseeing engineering, technology management, and partner relationships. Earlier experience includes positions at GENBAND/BayPackets and BayPackets, where Vishal managed teams and contributed to critical product development. Vishal began the professional journey as a Research Engineer at C-DOT. Educational qualifications include an M.Tech in Telecom Networks from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, and a B.E in Electronics from BIET, Jhansi.
