Darin Huseby

Darin Huseby is a seasoned professional in the renewable energy sector with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as Senior Advisor for U.S. Renewables at TransAlta since August 2024, Huseby has also held the position of Principal at Canyon Point Energy, LLC since 2009. Previous roles include Vice President of Development for Scout Clean Energy and Brookfield Renewable, as well as Director of Development at EDF Renewables North America and NextEra Energy Resources. Huseby's career began with an Associate Vice President role at Seawest Windpower and a Senior Financial Analyst position at Calpine. Academically, Huseby holds an MBA in Finance from Santa Clara University and a BA in Political Science/Environmental Studies from UC Santa Barbara.
