Spencer Stewart

Spencer Stewart currently serves as the Senior Manager of Structured Products Trading at TransAlta since October 2025. Prior experience includes roles as Director of Power Marketing and Trading - West at ConocoPhillips from August 2022 to October 2025, and a Portfolio Manager and Term Trader at The Energy Authority from April 2011 to August 2022. Spencer also held positions as an Energy Trader at Xcel Energy, Castleton Commodities International, and Shell Energy, as well as a Real-Time Energy Trader at Calpine, Puget Sound Energy, and Williams. Spencer's educational background includes studies at the University of Oklahoma's Price College of Business.
