Mark Pherson

Mark Pherson, CFA, is a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in product management and development within the retirement solutions sector. Currently serving as Senior Director at Transamerica since July 2011, Mark manages a team focused on the ideation, design, and implementation of new products for the Workplace Solutions division, overseeing Employee Benefit, Retirement, and Stable Value products. As a subject matter expert in stable value products, Mark chairs the Stable Value Solutions Working Group Governance Committee and ensures adherence to company policies on product development. Prior to Transamerica, Mark worked as a Consultant at Mutual of America from January 2008 to July 2011, where responsibilities included managing Defined Contribution Plan relationships and advising clients on investment options and regulatory changes. Mark holds a degree in Economics from the University of Maryland.
