Sean Wang

Sean Wang is a seasoned Software Engineering Manager at Transamerica, with an extensive background in driving digital, data, and cloud transformations for business applications since November 2006. With a focus on modernizing Defined Contribution and Defined Benefit retirement management systems, Sean enhances functionality, security, performance, and user experience. Previously, as a Software Engineering Team Lead, Sean developed a high-volume retirement enterprise application and improved legacy systems by implementing Jenkins CI/CD processes. Earlier career experience includes a Software Engineer role at AXA XL, where Sean designed and developed corporate websites. Sean holds an M.B.A. in Finance and Information Technology Management from the University of Connecticut and a B.S. in Computer Science from Queens College.
