Dakota Do

Dakota Do is an experienced aerospace engineer with a diverse background in the field. Their most recent position was as an Aerospace Engineer at Trans Astronautica Corporation, where they are currently employed. Prior to that, Dakota co-founded Codex Laboratories in 2021. In the same year, they worked as a Support Engineer at Butler Aerospace & Defense, where they played a crucial role in resolving issues related to engineering parts and coordinating with various disciplines to make informed decisions regarding engineering changes.

In 2020, Dakota worked as a Test Engineer at ARCUAS and as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Rotorcraft Services Group, Inc. In the previous year, they held the position of Design Lead and Sponsorship Coordinator at Purdue Aerial Robotics, where they verified the viability of components for the team's Unmanned Aerial System and conducted structural and aerodynamic analysis.

Dakota's career in the aerospace industry began in 2015 as a Student Intern at the U.S. Naval Research Laboratory. During this time, they assisted in the construction of a satellite and conducted tests on spring compression and material conductivity. They also conducted research for purchase of machine products by the lab.

Dakota Do attended Purdue University from 2017 to 2020, where they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering.
