Ana Maria Areias

Ana Maria Areias is an experienced professional in the fields of translation, education, and performing arts. Currently serving as an English Portuguese telephone interpreter at Transatlantic Translations Group since December 2021, Areias also holds a position as a professor at Escola Arco-Íris. Previously, Areias taught French at Wizard Casa Forte and worked as a pedagogical coordinator at Brasil Canadá - Educação Bilíngue. As an independent translator, Areias specialized in English-Portuguese, Portuguese-English, and French-Portuguese translations. Between February 2011 and 2019, Areias was involved in the music scene as a singer with Mini Rock. Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Literature at Universidade Federal de Pernambuco, Areias also holds a Bachelor's degree in Literary Criticism from the same institution.
