David Orlandi Mattos Edmundson is an accomplished language professional with extensive experience in translation, interpretation, and localization. Currently serving as a Video Translator and Annotator at Lionbridge, David also founded and manages Blue Syntax, a language service provider. Since 2018, David has worked as a Spanish and Portuguese Interpreter at Transatlantic Translations Group and as a freelance translator for several companies, including Stealth Translations Ltd and La Gran Latina. Previous roles include Brazilian Portuguese Localization Tester at Localsoft and Localization Tester at Electronic Arts, along with a position as Language Editor at Kabam Games. David holds a B.A. (Honours) in English Literature with a focus on Creative Writing from The Open University and has additional training from Words Language Service.
