Lin Akkermans

Lin Akkermans currently serves as the Information Security & Privacy Officer at Transavia, a position held since November 2023. Prior to this role, Lin was a Consultant at EY from June 2021 to November 2023, focusing on information security, privacy, and business continuity audits for global clients. Lin gained valuable experience as a Legal Intern at the Nederlandse Zorgautoriteit, where responsibilities included conducting Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) and assisting with GDPR implementation. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Law and Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Global Law, both from Tilburg University, along with an exchange program at IE Business School.
