Martijn Berkel

Martijn Berkel has extensive experience in aviation, currently serving as a Captain for the Boeing 737 at Transavia since April 2014, after initially working as a First Officer on the same aircraft model. Prior to joining Transavia, Martijn held a position in Research and Development at Unired Lighting B.V. from October 2012 to December 2016, and worked as an Assistant at Kuoni Destination Management between July 2009 and March 2014. Additional experience includes a role as a Sales Representative at Jack & Jones from May 2011 to February 2012. Martijn's educational background includes an Engineer's degree in Industrial Management from Hanze, completed between 2015 and 2018, an ATP(A) Integrated Course from KLM Flight Academy from 2011 to 2013, and a VWO degree in Natuur en Techniek from CSG Het Noordik Almelo, completed in 2011.
