Niels van Den Broek

Niels van den Broek is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in design leadership, IT management, and operational oversight. Currently serving as Design Lead at Transavia since June 2017, Niels is responsible for integrating privacy, architecture, IT security, and compliance into agile development processes and has established a design department with a diverse team of architects and digital trust officers. Prior to Transavia, Niels held various roles at Spotta from March 2004 to June 2017, including Manager of IT & Business Development, Director of Operations, and Senior Project Manager, where responsibilities encompassed organizational change, operational management, and network building for mail distribution. Earlier experience at TNT Post included roles such as Manager of Sorting and various management trainee positions, focusing on operational management and process optimization. Niels holds a Master of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Groningen and a VWO diploma from Willem de Zwijgercollege.
