Helen Gray Schnase

Helen Gray Schnase, MD, MBA, FAAFP has a diverse work experience. Helen is currently the Vice President of Clinic Services at Transcarent and the Franchise Owner and Medical Director at VIO Med Spa, both starting in 2023.

Previously, from 2019 to 2023, Dr. Schnase worked at 98point6 Inc., where they held multiple roles including Medical Director of Clinical Operations and Core Physician. In these positions, they provided leadership and direction, delivered direct patient care via a text-based modality, and collaborated with various teams within clinical operations.

Before joining 98point6 Inc., Dr. Schnase worked at Virginia Mason Medical Center, where they served as a Locums Physician, Physician Advisor, and Family Physician from 2015 to 2019. Prior to that, they held the position of Medical Director at Immunize Nevada and worked as a Family Physician and Medical Director at Saint Mary's Regional Medical Center, Inc.

Dr. Schnase's career also includes their role as a Faculty Physician at the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine from 2011 to 2013.

Helen Gray Schnase, MD, MBA, FAAFP holds a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from the University of Nevada School of Medicine. Helen also completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) at the University of Nevada, Reno. Additionally, they completed the Family Medicine Residency Program at the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine. Helen Gray Schnase furthered their education by earning a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from LSU Shreveport. Helen has obtained several certifications, including Six Sigma Green Belt (CSSGB) from Transformance Advisors Inc. and Certified Lean Practitioner from the same institution. Helen is also a Buprenorphine Waived Practitioner certified by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA).
