Katie Barnes

Katie Barnes is a seasoned marketing professional with extensive experience in developing and executing strategic marketing communications across various organizations. Currently serving as the Director of Marketing Communications at Transcat since December 2021, Katie has previously held roles such as Senior Marketing & Communications Manager and Marketing Communications Manager. At Advanced Illumination, Katie was instrumental in creating a yearly multi-channel marketing plan to enhance brand visibility and drive sales. Prior experience at IMI involved managing a website launch and delivering content marketing initiatives, while earlier roles at item America focused on content management and trade show coordination. Katie holds a BA in Business Management and English from Mercyhurst University and an MBA with a concentration in Marketing from Mount St. Mary's University.
