Allison Cuff Shimooka

Allison Cuff Shimooka has significant work experience in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry. Allison is currently the Chief Operating Officer at TransCelerate BioPharma Inc. Prior to this, they held various leadership roles at Optum, including Senior Vice President and Vice President of Strategy and Product Innovation in the Life Sciences division, as well as Vice President of Strategy and Vice President of Product, Marketing, and Operations at Advisory Board Research. Allison also served as the Executive Director of Research at The Advisory Board Company for 14 years. Allison began their career as a Summer Associate at The Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services and later worked as a Business Development Manager at PPL Therapeutics. Allison started their professional journey as a Senior Analyst at L.E.K. Consulting.

Allison Cuff Shimooka completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry from Dartmouth College in 1998. Following this, they pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in Healthcare Management at The Wharton School, graduating in 2004.
