Risa Roth

Risa Roth, M.Ed, NCC, is a dedicated mental health professional currently serving as a Mental Health Clinician at Transcend Psychotherapy since May 2023. Prior experience includes a Counseling Internship at Integrative Life Center of Nashville and roles at TN Voices and The Bandana Project, where Risa worked as a Child Care Consultation Program Support Specialist and Director of Communications and Community Relations, respectively. Risa's foundational experience includes multiple school counseling internships at Metro Nashville Public Schools and the University School of Nashville. Academic credentials consist of a Master's degree in Human Development Counseling from Vanderbilt University and a Bachelor's degree in Developmental and Child Psychology and Sociology from the University of Minnesota. Risa's research experience spans various institutions, contributing significantly to projects related to child development and LGBTQ+ training for school counselors.
