Leslie Colwell

Leslie Colwell is currently a Partner in Policy at Transcend. They previously served as Vice President of K-12 Education Initiatives and Vice President of Youth Success Initiatives at the Colorado Children's Campaign from 2014 to 2023. Prior to that, Leslie worked as Legislative Director and Manager of the Urban Leaders Fellowship Program in the Office of Sen. Mike Johnston from 2011 to 2013. Their earlier roles included teaching 6th grade Mathematics and Earth Science at the Los Angeles Unified School District and serving as an Associate in the Public Leadership Initiative with Teach for America. Leslie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Public Communication from American University and a Multiple Subject Credential from UCLA.
