Daniel Chinnapen

Daniel Chinnapen serves as the CEO of Phorum.AI since January 2024 and is a member of the Scientific Advisory Board at Transcera. Previously, Daniel held the position of Head of Targeted Delivery at Sail Biomedicines, focusing on circular RNA and novel vaccine delivery methods, and served as Chief Scientific Officer at Vantage, where innovative cGMP manufacturing and biomass extraction were key areas of development. Daniel’s academic background includes being an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School and Staff Scientist at Boston Children's Hospital, where research concentrated on lipid-based delivery systems for rare lysosomal diseases. Educational qualifications encompass multiple degrees from Simon Fraser University, along with postdoctoral training at both Harvard Medical School and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
