Anna Krook Riekkola is a Professor at Luleå University of Technology, with extensive experience in energy systems analysis. Since August 2011, Anna has held roles including Associate Professor, Associate Senior Lecturer, and Research Engineer. Additionally, Anna serves on the Climate Scientific Advisory Board for both EKN Exportkreditnämnden and SEK Svensk Exportkredit from August 2021 to July 2025. As a Visiting Fulbright Scholar at Arizona State University in 2022, Anna contributed to the College of Global Futures. Previous experience includes work with the European Commission on low carbon technology impact modeling and analysis, and long-term modeling of the Swedish energy system at Chalmers University of Technology. Anna earned a PhD in Energy Systems Technology from Chalmers University of Technology, along with other degrees in engineering and energy studies from prominent institutions.
