Paul O'Brien

Paul O'Brien is an experienced transit executive currently serving as Region Vice President at Transdev since March 2023, where oversight includes managing multiple public transit services across the Northeast region of the US, covering 50 operating locations with 5,600 employees and generating over $410 million in annual revenue. Prior to Transdev, Paul O'Brien held the position of Region Vice President at First Transit from April 2014 to March 2023, also managing transit services in the Northeast, with annual revenue exceeding $210 million. Their earlier roles include District Manager at First Transit, Inc. from October 2007 to April 2014, where responsibilities included managing seven contracts and nine facilities in the tri-state area with revenue exceeding $47 million, and District Manager at Laidlaw Transit Services, Inc. from 2000 to 2007. Paul O'Brien's career in the transit industry began as Senior Contract Manager at Ryder Student Transportation Services, Inc. from 1991 to 2000.
