Shawn Chavira

Shawn Chavira currently serves as the General Manager at Transdev and has held a position on the Board of Directors at Evolgo since January 2020. Chavira previously worked as a Strategic Advisor at Opoli.com until April 2023 and was a Board Member for the Southern California Chapter of the Association for Commuter Transportation from December 2019 to June 2022. Before these roles, Chavira was the Associate Director of Transit Operations at the University of Southern California from July 2017 to December 2019, overseeing bus and Campus Cruiser services. Chavira has also contributed as a Planning Commissioner for the City of Alhambra and worked at the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority as a Senior Emergency Homeland Security Specialist. Other notable roles include being President of CFMG and a Manager at First Transit, where responsibilities included overseeing a fleet of buses and operators for transportation services. Chavira obtained a B.A. in Marketing/Business Administration from Whittier College and completed secondary education at Saint Francis High School.
