Gino Fontana

Gino Fontana, CTP, has a wealth of experience in various leadership roles within the transportation and logistics industry. Gino is currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer - Executive Vice President at Transervice Logistics Inc. since May 2021. Prior to this, they held the position of Vice President Operations, Berkeley Division & Puerto Rico at the same company from December 2018 to May 2021.

Before joining Transervice Logistics Inc., Gino worked at EMKAY, Inc. as the Assistant Vice President North American Maintenance Operations. Gino contributed to the company's success by providing innovative and comprehensive fleet management solutions from June 2011 to November 2013.

Gino also has experience at Lakeside Family Sports Complex, where they served as the President/Principal. During their tenure from September 2007 to August 2008, they successfully launched a new LLC for a youth sports academy and managed all aspects of the business.

In addition, Gino has an extensive history with Wheels, Inc. Gino held various positions within the company, including Senior Director Purchasing Operations, Truck Engineering, Vendor Management, Manufacturer Relations from 2005 to 2007. Before that, they served as Director, Manager, Account Executive, Maintenance Advisor from December 1984 to September 2005.

Gino Fontana, CTP, completed their Bachelor's Degree in Organizational Development at DePaul University from 1996 to 2001. In 2006, they attended the MIT Sloan School of Management for a short-term program focused on Strategy and Leadership. From 2005 to 2007, they obtained a Process Master certification from Hammer & Associates in Cambridge, Mass, specializing in Process Improvement. Gino also pursued Executive Leadership Coaching at David Martin & Company in Cincinnati, Ohio, from 2008 to 2021. Additionally, they completed Executive Coaching training at the Center for Character Based Leadership in Chicago from 2005 to 2007. Prior to their higher education, Gino graduated from Glenbrook North High School in 1982.
