Jarkko Ilomäki

Jarkko Ilomäki has extensive work experience in the technology industry, with a focus on the food supply chain. Jarkko started their career as a Programmer at Agricultural Data Processing Centre in 2002 and held various roles, including Leading Programmer and Software Administrator, Programming Manager, Head of Department, Software Development, and Chief Technology Officer. In 2014, they joined Mtech Digital Solutions as the Business Area Director before being promoted to Executive Vice President in 2017. Currently, they hold the role of COO & CTO, EVP at Mtech, where they are responsible for building smart food production and helping customers produce healthy and environmentally friendly food. Jarkko is also the Chairman of the Board at Mtech Digital Solutions Oy Henkilöstörahasto and Vice Chairman of the Board at Neviso Oy. Additionally, they serve as Varapuheenjohtaja at Itä-Uudenmaan hyvinvointialue | Östra Nylands välfärdsområde | Eastern Uusimaa wellbeing county. In 2015, they were a Project Group Member for Animal Data Exchange at ICAR - International Committee for Animal Recording.

Jarkko Ilomäki's education history begins in 1995 when they attended Eura, although no degree or field of study is specified during that time. From 1998 to 2004, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Technology at Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan. After a gap in education, Jarkko enrolled at the University of Northampton in 2020 and completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General in 2022. Additionally, in September 2020, they obtained a certification as a Certified Board Member from Helsingin seudun kauppakamari - Helsinki Region Chamber of Commerce.
