Markus Vogl is a software engineer with diverse experience in backend development, primarily using Java, Python, and various frameworks. Currently employed at Research Industrial Systems Engineering (RISE) since March 2023, Markus is focusing on creating an encrypted, revision-safe document storage backend for the public sector. Previous roles include serving as a Senior Software Engineer at datavisyn GmbH, where responsibilities encompassed backend development with Python and database management, alongside CI/CD processes. Markus also contributed to the art project “Exposed Building” for the Ars Electronica Festival and served as a tutor at Johannes Kepler Universität Linz, helping students with Explainable AI. Earlier career milestones include a full stack engineering position at Catalysts, and experience as a test automation engineer at Sophos. Markus holds a Master of Science in Computer Science with a focus on Network & Security and a Bachelor of Science in Informatics from JKU Linz, as well as a degree in Informatics from HTL Wels.
