Avinash Wadhwani

Avinash Wadhwani's work experience includes various leadership roles in the field of finance, consulting, and technology. Starting in 1991, they worked as a Marketing Executive at Tata Consultancy Services, where they managed sales of E.X and Oracle RDMBS. Avinash then served as Vice President of Equity Sales at SSKI from 1994 to 1996. From 1996 to 1999, Avinash was the Head of Equity Sales at Daewoo Finance India Ltd. Avinash then joined Polaris Software Services as an Assistant Vice President from 1999 to 2002. In 2003, they became a Senior Manager in Capital Markets at Headstrong, where they managed a portfolio of over $35MM and held P&L responsibility across multiple financial services and investment banking client relationships in the NYC region. From 2009 to 2020, Avinash worked at Cognizant in various roles including Director of Capital Markets, Associate Director of Retail & Consumer Goods, Associate Director of Global Corporate Strategy, and Associate Director of Media & Entertainment. In 2020, they co-founded a blockchain platform. Avinash also founded Axar Worldwide LLC in 2023 and currently holds the position of Executive Vice President and Strategic Advisor at TransForm Solutions.

Avinash Wadhwani earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Finance - PE, Strategy/ Turnaround, M&A from Columbia Business School in 2008. Prior to this, Avinash attended the University of Mumbai, where they pursued a Master's degree in Marketing. Additionally, Avinash obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Mumbai.
