Adam Ward

Adam Ward is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in high voltage design and project management. Currently serving as High Voltage Design Manager at Transgrid since June 2013, Adam has undertaken significant roles including General Manager of Engineering & Design and Manager of Engineering and Design on secondment. Responsibilities include producing detailed primary designs for substations up to 500kV, providing technical support, and coordinating a new Design Delivery Framework. Prior experience at Transgrid includes roles as HV Plant Procurement Engineer and Project Manager, overseeing major capital projects and preparing technical specifications. Adam's career began as an Electrical Engineering Intern at O'Donnell Griffin, backed by a degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Wollongong.
