Peter Xiong

Peter Xiong is a highly experienced engineer specializing in electrical and transmission line design. Currently serving as a Senior Transmission Line and Cable Design Engineer at Transgrid since June 2023, Peter has previously held significant roles including Senior Electrical Engineer at AECOM from August 2018 to June 2023, and Electrical Engineer positions at Ultegra and Advanced Consulting Services Pty Ltd. Peter began his career at the State Grid Corporation of China, where the foundation in electrical engineering was established. With a Master of Engineering in Electrical Utility Engineering from Curtin University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering and Automation from Zhejiang University, Peter brings a robust academic background to the field.
