Hussain Rizvi has extensive work experience in the financial sector. Hussain started their career in 2001 at Scotia Bank in a role related to personal and small business banking. Hussain then worked as a Staff Accountant at Grant Thornton LLP in 2006 before joining Ernst & Young as an Assurance Senior in 2007. In 2009, they joined MSCM LLP as a Senior Accountant. From 2010 to 2016, they worked at Parmalat Canada, where they held various roles including Manager, Internal Controls, Manager Financial Reporting, and eventually Corporate Controller. In 2017, they joined Lactalis American Group as Controller - Milk Procurement, and later moved to Stonyfield as an Integration Director from September 2017 to December 2018. In 2019, they worked at siggi's dairy as a CFO from January to May, and then joined Traffix as the CFO from May 2019 to January 2023. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Financial Officer at TransImpact since January 2023.
Hussain Rizvi attended John Fraser Secondary School, although the specific start and end years are unknown. After completing high school, they enrolled at Western University from 1998 to 2001, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics. In 2004, Hussain pursued Accounting at York University, where they studied for two years until 2006. Additionally, in 2009, they obtained certification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
