Lee Yuen Hee

Lee Yuen Hee is the current CEO of TRANSIT LINK PTE LTD. Lee has previously served as the Chief Executive Officer of the National Environment Agency from May 2005 to December 2008, and as a Director Board of Governors for both the Institute of Technical Education from January 2002 to December 2010, and Singapore Polytechnic from January 2000 to December 2006. Lee also has experience as a Director Resource Development for the Ministry of Trade and Industry (Singapore) from August 1999 to February 2002, Deputy Secretary (International) for the Ministry of Transport, Singapore from January 2009 to October 2013, Director Manpower for the Ministry of Defence Singapore from February 2002 to April 2005, and Director Land for the Ministry of Communications from April 1997 to August 1999.

Lee Yuen Hee studied at Anglo-Chinese School (Barker Road) and Anglo-Chinese Junior College before going on to the University of Cambridge for their undergraduate degree in chemical engineering. Lee then pursued a Master of Public Administration at Harvard University.

TRANSIT LINK PTE LTD

Transit Link Pte Ltd was incorporated on 16 November 1987 and became a subsidiary of the Land Transport Authority on 30 April 2010. Today, TransitLink plays an important role in Singapore’s Public Transport system as the Transit Acquirer which provides integrated services and solutions to the authorities (such as the Public Transport Council and the Land Transport Authority), the Public Transport Operators (SBS Transit, SMRT, Tower Transit and Go-Ahead), the Card Managers (EZ-Link and NETS). As a service company, they process transit transactions and apportion revenue to the Public Transport Operators, provide card sales, refunds and replacements and top-ups of stored value smartcards for their customers.
