Policy Partnerships Manager at TransitScreen

Diana Dakik is currently the Policy Partnerships Manager at TransitScreen. Prior to their current role, they spent 4 years at the University of the District of Columbia where they served as the Sustainability Innovation Consultant, Adjunct Professor, and provided strategic development, planning, technical support, and educational trainings for the Center of Architectural Innovation & Building Science and the Center for Sustainable Development and Resilience. Diana also spent a year and a month as the Policy Partnerships Manager at Actionfigure (TransitScreen), where they worked with cities and TDM professionals across North America to promote multimodal transportation, parking reduction, and alternative transportation policy. In addition, they have also worked as a Consultant for The World Bank and Senior Project Manager at Build It Green. Most recently, they were the Environmental Programs Manager at Environmental Innovations for 2 years. Throughout their career, Diana has been passionate about sustainability and making a positive impact on the environment.

Diana Dakik is currently attending Vermont Law School to earn their degree in Environmental Law and Policy. Diana has a Bachelor of Arts from University of California, Santa Cruz in Economics and Environmental Science. Diana is currently working on their PhD in Urban Leadership and Entrepreneurship from University of the District of Columbia and expects to graduate in 2023.
