William Arter has held a variety of professional roles since 2012. William began their career as a Summer Camp Counselor at Camp Starlight in 2012, followed by a role as a Group Leader at Mill On The Brue Limited in 2013. William then took on a Research Intern role at Perm State University (PSU) in 2014. In 2016, they became an Undergraduate Supervisor at the University of Cambridge. In 2018, they were a Technical Consultant at Cortirio, and in 2019 they were a Technical Consultant at Fluidic Analytics. Most recently, in 2020, they became a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Cambridge and a Scientific Director at Transition Bio, Inc.
William Arter received a Master's Degree in Chemistry from the University of Oxford from 2011 to 2015. William then went on to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology from the University of Cambridge from 2015 to 2019.
