Sarah Gyorog

Sarah Gyorog is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in restorative justice and human rights advocacy. Currently serving as Executive Director at Transition House, Inc. since September 2018, Gyorog previously held the role of Director of Restorative Programming at The Center for Women in Transition, where practical restorative justice programming for women in the criminal justice system was designed and implemented. Prior experience includes facilitating workshops for inmates at the Missouri Eastern Correctional Facility through the Alternatives to Violence Program and coordinating graduate and international programs at Washington University in St. Louis. Gyorog's commitment to social justice began as a field volunteer with Peace Brigades International, providing protection to human rights defenders. Gyorog holds a Master's degree in Dispute Resolution from UMass Boston and a Bachelor's degree in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
