Jessica Vuncannon

Jessica Vuncannon has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Jessica started their career at DCRI - Duke Clinical Research Institute in 2007, where they worked as an IT Analyst, testing healthcare systems and ensuring compliance with QA standards. Jessica also developed and tested web applications during their time in this role.

In 2013, Jessica joined MicroPact (formerly Iron Data Solutions, Inc.) as a Senior QA Analyst, where they served as a test lead on Core ICM, planning and executing testing efforts for software and web applications. Jessica was involved in all project phases, from requirements review to system testing and launch.

From 2014 to 2016, Jessica worked at the North Carolina Rate Bureau/NC Reinsurance Facility/NC Insurance Guaranty Association as a QA Analyst. Jessica tested and ensured quality for various systems, including the Claims Management and Financial Tracking System, and Manage Policy 3.0.

In 2016, Jessica joined Westwood Baptist Church as an English Second Language Teacher, teaching community outreach classes to international adults.

From 2017 to 2020, they worked at BB&T as a Software Engineer. In this role, Jessica developed, reviewed, maintained, and executed user acceptance tests for mobile and web banking applications. Jessica also performed accessibility and web analytics testing.

Most recently, in 2020, Jessica joined ICON plc as a Software Tester, where they are currently employed.

Jessica Vuncannon graduated from Mercer University with a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science. In 2011, they pursued further education and obtained a Master Certificate in Software Testing from Villanova University. Jessica has also obtained various certifications, including "Improving Your Listening Skills" from LinkedIn in September 2022, "Certified Tester, Foundation Level Agile Tester (CTFL-AT)" from ISTQB - International Software Testing Qualifications Board in September 2018, "ISTQB - CTAL-TM - Certified Tester Advanced Level - Test Manager" from ISTQB in March 2017, and "ISTQB® CTFL - Certified Tester Foundation Level" from ISTQB in December 2011. Jessica also holds a Master Certificate in Software Testing from Villanova University, although the specific month and year of obtaining this certification are not provided.
