Jeremy Druker

Executive director and editor in chief at Transitions Media

Jeremy Druker is an accomplished educator and media leader with extensive experience in journalism and international education. Currently serving as a Professor at CIEE and New York University, Druker has also held the position of Executive Director at Transitions Online since 1999, where Jeremy focuses on enhancing journalism standards in Central and Eastern Europe. As the Founder and CEO of Press Start, Druker created a pioneering crowdfunding platform to support journalists in repressive environments. Additionally, Druker has contributed to various media organizations and participated in prestigious educational initiatives such as the Fulbright Commission in the Czech Republic. Druker holds an A.B. Degree in History and Literature from Harvard University, an M.A. in International Affairs from Columbia University, and recently completed the Sulzberger Executive Leadership Program at Columbia's Graduate School of Journalism.

We do this through a combination of journalism and media training programs, and the publication of Transitions Online magazine.
