Declan Donoghue

Declan Donoghue is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as the Global Engineering Downstream (Operation) Equipment & Platform Development Manager at Transitions Optical since January 2020. In this role, Declan oversees the design, development, and implementation of new equipment and technologies for global operational requirements. Previously, Declan held the position of Global Engineering Upstream Equipment & Platform Manager, providing technical and project management leadership in R&D engineering. Declan also worked as a Global Engineering Senior Equipment Engineer and as Operations Manager at SL Controls Ltd. Earlier in the career, Declan served as System Manager at CPS Conveyor and Packaging Systems. Declan holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Technological University Dublin, completed between 1995 and 1998.
