Lourdes Mendiola

Lourdes Mendiola has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Lourdes started their career in 1990 at Motorola, where they held multiple positions, including Regional Applications Manager. In this role, they managed the B2B engagement and system integration between Motorola and its suppliers and foundries. Lourdes also served as the IT Manager for Motorola KLM, overseeing operations support and strategic implementations for plants in Malaysia and corporate offices. Lourdes then moved on to Transitions Optical, where they worked as the Asia Pacific Regional IT Director, responsible for the IT strategy and operations for the region. Subsequently, Lourdes joined Essilor Shared Services Philippines Inc. as the IT Director for Ecommerce & Digital Solutions, leading the application and support team for ecommerce and digital applications. Lourdes later joined VisionHub as the Asia Pacific Business Development Director, focusing on market development and expansion in Asia Pacific and the Middle East. Most recently, Lourdes has been working at Transitions Optical as the Digital Business Innovation and IT PMO Director, responsible for developing innovative applications and transformative platforms, as well as managing the Program Management Office. Lourdes Mendiola completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of the Philippines from 1985 to 1990. In 2020 to 2021, they pursued a Postgraduate Diploma in Digital Business from Emeritus. Continuing their education, they then earned a Master's degree in Innovation & Business from the Asian Institute of Management in 2023 to 2024.
