Girish Vasudevan

Girish Vasudevan has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Girish is currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer at translab.io. Before this role, they held the position of CMO & Advisor at the same company. Girish has also worked as an Information Technology Consultant at Forteen Computing and Consulting. Girish also has experience as an Independent Consultant, where they worked as a self-employed professional. Prior to that, they worked at CloudBees as the Director - Channels & Alliances APAC. Girish has a long association with IBM, where they held various roles such as Global Business Development Executive, Executive - CSI, Executive - Client Experience, and Geo Expansion Executive. Additionally, they worked as the Branch Manager at IBM Chennai and held roles at IBM Vietnam Company and IBM ASEAN. With a strong background in sales, Girish also served as the Sales Director at Apple and as an Area Sales Manager at HCL Hewlett Packard.

Girish Vasudevan obtained an MBA degree in Marketing from Bharathidasan Institute of Management Tiruchirapalli, where they studied from 1984 to 1986. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies at Loyola College in Chennai, earning a BSC degree in Zoology from 1981 to 1984. In addition to their formal education, Girish also completed several certifications. Girish obtained a certificate in "De-Mystifying Mindfulness (with Honors)" from Coursera in May 2017, and another certificate in "De-Mystifying Mindfulness" from the same institution in April 2017. Furthermore, they acquired a certificate in "Project Management: The Basics for Success" from Coursera Verified Certificates in July 2015, and another certificate in the same course from Coursera in the same month and year.
