Eric Buckland

Eric Buckland has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Eric is the Founder and CEO of Translational Imaging Innovations, a company focused on delivering sight-saving medical breakthroughs to the clinic at an accelerated pace. Eric also serves as a Member of the Board of Directors at C. Light Technologies, Inc. In the past, they have held roles as an Entrepreneur In Residence at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute and as an Entrepreneur at Four Pi Innovations, LLC, where they collaborated with academic innovators and corporate partners in the ophthalmology and vision technologies sector. Prior to that, Eric served as the General Manager/Sr. Director at Leica Microsystems and as the President and CEO of Bioptigen, Inc., specializing in optical coherence tomography technology for ophthalmic research. Eric also worked as the President of Venture Technomics, LLC, providing consulting services for technology companies. Earlier in their career, Eric held management positions at Corning, Alcatel Cables NA, and Sumitomo Electric, gaining experience in strategic planning, program management, product development, and team leadership in fiber optics and telecommunications.
