Robert Hock has had an extensive work history, starting in 2012 with Command Transportation as a Senior Carrier Sales Representative and Carrier Sales Representative. In 2015, they moved to Echo Global Logistics as a Senior Carrier Operations Representative. In 2017, they became a Carrier Sales Manager at K & L Freight Management, Inc. and in 2018, they were a Capacity Team Manager and Senior Carrier Sales Representative at Arrive Logistics. From 2019 to 2020, they were a Substitute Teacher at both Chicago Public Schools and Maine Township High School District 207. Currently, they are a Student Teacher at Minocqua J1 School District and a Strategic After-Hours Specialist at TransLoop, as well as a Physical Education/Rotating Guest Teacher at the School District of Rhinelander.

Robert Hock's education history includes a High School Diploma from West Chicago Community High School, which they obtained from 2000 to 2004. Robert has also obtained a Professional Educator License (Provisional) from the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction in July 2022, a Professional Educator License from the Illinois State Board of Education in June 2022, and a Substitute Teacher License from the Illinois State Board of Education in 2019.
