Kristian Johannessen

Kristian Johannessen is an experienced engineering professional with a diverse background in subsea and mechanical design. Currently serving as Head of Engineering and Senior System Engineer at Transmark Subsea AS since January 2021, Kristian has previously held the position of Project Lead Engineer at ABB, where responsibilities included overseeing subsea electrification projects and developing subsea power distribution systems. With extensive experience at CGG and Wavefield-Inseis Geophysical ASA, Kristian has contributed to the development of electromagnetic exploration equipment and provided technical support to global seismic exploration operations. Additional experience includes roles in design engineering and project management at various companies, alongside a solid educational foundation in engineering from notable Norwegian institutions.
