Govind Chilamkurthi

Govind Chilamkurthi has worked in the software engineering and trading logic development fields since 2004. Govind began their career at Flextronics Software Systems as a Software Engineer, then moved to Hughes Software Systems in the same role. In 2006, they took on a Faculty for Quantitative Aptitude role at Career Avenues, and a Software Engineer role at Network Appliance. Govind was responsible for building a test automation suite and internal tools, debugging storage management technologies, and interfacing with the marketing team. In 2008, they worked as a Financial Engineer at Archelon LLC, where they were responsible for data analysis of High Frequency market making system, analysis of order execution, building and maintaining various trading and data management applications, enhancing the financial engineering library, maintenance of the financial mysql database, developing and researching new financial models, and supporting other data requirements of the marketmaking team. Govind also researched and implemented volatility skew models for pricing equity options. From 2009 to 2011, they worked as a Trading Logic Developer at Aardvark Trading, and then at TransMarket Group, L.L.C.

Govind Chilamkurthi attended the Illinois Institute of Technology from 2007 to 2009, where they earned a MS in Finance (Financial Engineering). From 2000 to 2004, they attended the Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology and earned a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering. From 1998 to 2000, they attended Gowtham Junior College, Gudavalli. From 1986 to 1998, they attended St Francis, Machilipatnam.
