Matthew Peterson has over 20 years of experience in the finance industry. Matthew began their career in 1998 at A.G. Edwards & Sons, Inc. as an Agency RMBS Pass-Through Trader. In 2001, they moved to Homeside Lending as a Trading/Risk Management and MSR Hedging specialist. In 2002, they joined RBC Capital Markets as the Head of RMBS Agency Pass-through Trading, managing a 4-person team and responsible for managing all risk for TBA flow and specified pool trading portfolio. In 2012, they became the Head of the Securities Investment Department and Portfolio Management at Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ, managing a portfolio of GNMA specified pools, GNMA TBA, US Treasuries, Futures and Options. In 2014, they joined TransMarket Group, L.L.C. as the Head MBS Trader, developing a proprietary relative value arbitrage trading platform for Agency MBS and engaging in multiple trading strategies.
Matthew Peterson attended Oklahoma State University from 1993 to 1998, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance, International Business, and Japanese. During this time, they also studied Japanese Language and Japanese Business at Kansai Gaidai University from 1995 to 1996.
