Barry Richards

Barry Richards has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Barry is currently working at Transmission as a VP Global Strategy since March 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Strategy & Planning Director at Transmission from May 2018 to April 2022. Barry also served as a Planning Director at Transmission from July 2017 to May 2018.

Before joining Transmission, Barry worked at McDonald Butler Associates as the Head of Strategy & Insight from April 2011 to July 2017. In this role, they ran 1:1 ABM programs for HPe, DXC, and Ruba Networks, managed a multi-discipline research team, and acted as a creative planner.

Barry also has experience as a Director at Enterprise Mobility Network from August 2011 to October 2013. Here, they created a global enterprise mobility community, provided online resources, networking opportunities, and organized mobility events.

Barry previously worked at Publicis Modem as a Planning Director from January 2009 to March 2010 and as a Senior Planner from April 2008 to January 2009. Barry also served as a Strategy and Analytics Manager at Publicis Modem from April 2007 to 2008.

Earlier in their career, Barry held the position of Marketing Manager at Modem Media from October 2005 to 2007. Barry began their career at Microsoft Ltd as an Online Communities Manager from November 1995 to August 2004.

Barry Richards studied at Aston University from 1990 to 1994, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree with Honors. Their field of study focused on Biology, Society, and Government.
