Javier Jarava

Javier Jarava has a diverse work experience spanning over many years. Javier started their career in 2002 as a Post-Sales Manager at Secuware S.L. and later served as the Technical Director for securing ASISTER at the Ministry of Interior in 2004. In 2007, they joined EMC as a Senior Technical Consultant for RSA, where they eventually became a Senior Systems Engineer and a Silver Tail Subject Matter Expert for RSA, focusing on Spain, Italy, and France. Javier also served as a member of the Grupo de Expertos DNI electrónico from October 2007 to February 2008. In 2014, Javier started working at Trusteer (IBM Security) as a Client Technical Professional, and they later moved to IBM as the Europe Tech Sales SaaS Focal Point, responsible for promoting SaaS offerings within the IBM Security portfolio. Javier'smost recent role was with Transmit Security, where they held various positions, including Principal Solutions Engineer, Tech Field Lead LATAM, and currently the Director, Iberia, and Latin America Systems Engineering.

Javier Jarava completed the EMC High Contributor Programme at Cranfield School of Management in 2010 and 2011. Javier holds a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering with a specialization in Automation and Industrial Electronics from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. In 1997 and 1998, they obtained a Master's degree in Object-Oriented Programming in C++ from Centro Estudio Multimedia. Additionally, Javier has certifications in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC), Cloud Security Knowledge (CCSKv3), Information Security Management (CISM), and Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
