Roman Strass

Roman Strass has extensive experience in project management and civil engineering, currently serving as Project Manager for Design and Civil Engineering at TransnetBW GmbH since October 2021, focusing on major projects within the energy transmission network in South-West Germany. Prior to this role, Roman worked at ThyssenKrupp Foerderechnik from January 2003 to July 2021 as Project Manager, overseeing engineering to commissioning phases of various large machinery and plant projects. Earlier experience includes managing projects related to general steel structures and industrial buildings, as well as serving as a structural engineer and project manager at Dillinger Stahlbau DSD. Roman began the career at Ingenieurbuero Boettger, specializing in structural engineering. Roman holds a Diplom in Civil Engineering from Fachhochschule des Saarlandes, earned between 1983 and 1987.
