Head Of Strategic Assets And Facilities Management at Transport for Greater Manchester

Howard Hartley MRICS has extensive work experience in the field of facilities management and building surveying. Howard currently holds the position of Head of Strategic Assets and Facilities Management at Transport for Greater Manchester, a role they have held since November 2021. Prior to this, Howard worked at TfGM as the Head of Facilities Management, starting in January 1999, with an undefined end date. Before joining TfGM, they worked as a Building Surveyor at TGA Building Consultancy from April 1997 to December 1998. Howard's career began at the Metropolitan Police, where they served as a Building Surveyor from September 1989 to April 1997.

Howard Hartley MRICS completed a Bachelor's degree in Building Surveying from Anglia Ruskin University, which they pursued from 1990 to 1992. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc Hons) degree in Construction Management and Building Surveying from Sheffield Hallam University, where they studied from 1985 to 1989.
