Kate Green has extensive experience in emergency preparedness and civil contingencies, currently serving as the TravelSafe Partnership Manager at Transport for Greater Manchester since May 2019. Prior to this role, Kate held multiple positions at the Association of Greater Manchester Authorities, including Strategic Resilience Lead and Business Partner for Civil Contingencies and Resilience, where expertise was developed in supporting local authorities with emergency preparedness, leading flood planning efforts, and managing local resilience forums. Previous roles include Resilience Officer at Rochdale Borough Council and Flood Incident Management Team Member at the Environment Agency. Kate holds a Post Graduate Certificate in Integrated Emergency Planning from the University of Leeds and a BSc (Hons) in Geography and Geology from The University of Manchester.
